The Sims 4 child skills cheat is the perfect way to help your child max out their skills and be ready for any challenge that comes their way.
With this cheat, they can learn everything they need to know in just a few minutes.
This Post Is All About Sims 4 Child Skill Cheat
To use the Sims 4 child skills cheat, simply open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C on a computer or All 4 Triggers on a console Then, type in “testingcheats true” to enable cheats.
Once cheats are enabled, type in “stats.set_skill_level Skill_Child_” followed by the skill you want to improve. For example, “stats.set_skill_level Skill_Child_Mental 5” would raise your child’s mental skill to level 5.
Here is a cheat sheet of all child skills that you can quickly copy and paste into the cheat console. Change the number to any number between 1 and 10, depending on the level you want the skill to be.

Do child skills transfer to teens in the Sims 4?
Sadly they do, not but there is a bonus for having your child sim complete all their skills.
What happens if you max all child skills in the Sims 4?
If your child sim maxes out all their skills they’ll be given the mentally gifted reward trait.
This means when they age up they’ll gain mental skills quicker(logic, video gaming, and programming)
Additionally, this means they can begin to learn some of the adult skills which is excellent if you want to make a ‘super Sim.’
The skills they’ll be able to start learning are:
- Charisma
- Mischief
- Fishing
- Logic
- Video Gaming
- Violin
- Piano

Is there a mod that lets you cheat child skills?
There are two mods that allow you to do this: UI cheats extension Mod and MC Command Center. With either of these mods, you can set your child Sim’s skills to any level you want.
The UI Cheats Extension Mod is the easier one to use, as you simply click on a skill and it lets you select any level you want.
The MC Command Center mod is a great tool for cheating your Sims’ skills, but it does have a few more steps.
The one advantage of having this installed, though, is that you can randomize the skills of any of your Sims, which is handy for storytelling.
